Cleaning out your car…

Our job here at New Leaves is not to make assumptions or judgements about the lifestyles of others, however, when certain patterns and behaviors seem to impede us from moving forward towards our goal of a litter free America… well… we have to at least say something.

It seems all too common for people to allow their cars to become over crowed with trash, personal items, or just things. And a common way that this clutter is taken care of is to simply remove it and leave it for someone else to clean up eventually. The thought process that “I could leave it this garbage here in the parking lot of this business because they have people who they pay to clean the parking lot.” while in a vague sense is correct, we here at New Leaves believe that there is better way.

We believe that it is best to take responsibility for the mess that you create, instead of thinking “someone will take care of this eventually” we embrace the ideology “since I am the only one who made this mess, I must be the only one who can clean it up.”

New Leaves Urban Reform most certainly does clean up litter and so do many other companies around the world, but we also try educate individuals to change the way we all think about litter and pollution.
